Event Description:
Join the Town of Stony Plain Community & Social Development, Roots of Hope Roundtable, and the Canadian Mental Health Commission on March 23rd as we address the impacts of suicide in our community – and how we are working together to create an action plan for suicide prevention in our region.

1:00-1:30pm – Presentation from the Canadian Mental Health Commission on the Roots of Hope Initiative
1:30-2:30pm – Presentation from the Roots of Hope team on our current action plan & progress
2:30-4:00pm – Public Engagement

Kristopher Marks shares his inspiring journey of surviving suicide and the experiences that have motivated him to become a passionate mental health advocate, educator, and business owner.
